REBA'S PRALINE SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE

Thanksgiving is here and if you still have room for another side dish next to the turkey here's a good one for you. Reba recently shared a recipe with Good Housekeeping that combines two of Thanksgiving's staple foods into one dish. Reba's southern specialty unites sweet potatoes with praline to get those holiday taste buds firing. What you're going to do is preheat the oven to 350° F. Then grease a shallow 1 1/2-quart casserole dish, mash sweet potatoes in a bowl and stir in granulated sugar, margarine, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, and eggs. Then you're going to spoon the sweet potato mixture into a prepared casserole dish. Next, you need to mix the topping ingredients together and sprinkle them on a potato mixture. Finally, bake for 30 minutes and enjoy. This recipe serves six people.
Ingredients:
Potato mixture:
1 can (40 oz.) sweet potatoes, drained
1/3 cup granulated sugar
2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
2 large eggs

Topping:
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup pecans, chopped
3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. margarine, melted
