Tracy's Story:
On Monday afternoon, an elderly man was filling out his ballot at a community center in Michigan when he fell down, basically DEAD. He didn't have a heartbeat or pulse, and he wasn't breathing. Fortunately a registered nurse was there, started CPR, and revived the man within a few minutes. And the man's first question when he came to was, "Did I vote?" Then he went to the hospital.
Jojo's Story:
Two people said they were “lucky” to sustain only a few injuries when their SUV was clipped by the landing gear of a small plane in Texas. Heather and Frank Laudo of Flower Mound were driving on the road alongside the runway Saturday morning at Northwest Regional Airport near Roanoke when the top of the vehicle was struck by the landing gear of the single-engine Cessna. “I knew it was a plane immediately, because when I looked to the left, I saw him and he couldn’t have been more than 10 feet away,” Frank said. “I thought, ‘Wow, he’s a little low.’“ Frank and his wife were able to walk away from the crash with only a few cuts, scrapes and skull staples. William Davis, the student pilot operating the plane, was able to land the aircraft on its belly and was not seriously injured. The FAA is investigating.
