We send our condolences to Kimberly Schlapman of Little Big Town, who received devastating news regarding her brother-in-law on Thanksgiving. In a recent post on Facebook, Kimberly revealed more details behind his death, as he was struck by a drunk driver. Allen Schlapman was visiting Nashville from Virginia with his wife and 9-year-old daughter. In the post Kimberly said, “This is a part of life that one never imagines or plans for. It has been very difficult to accept.” She is thankful for support from fans adding, “We will miss him so much. I have been deeply touched by all your well-wishes and prayers. Thank you. God has proven himself faithful to us and has given us great peace amidst this horrible tragedy.”
