Releasing towards the end of January 2013, Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters will definitely open in theaters too late to absorb some of the Halloween spirit this year but not too late to get on the monster-hunting bandwagon. We’ve already had honest Abe hunting vampires and now this…. what’s next… Little Red Riding Hood the werewolf slayer? I guess at least in the Hansel and Gretel story there is actually a witch in it so I’ll lighten up. On the bright side there is room for optimism as Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton star as Hansel and Gretel in this dark spin on the fairytale. Check out the trailer below!
