It’s finally Election Day 2012! After today no more political ads and maybe in about a month I’ll start “friending” all of those people I “unfriended” because of their ridiculous political posts and pushy opinions… geeeez. One thing I know both candidates wish they were doing instead of all this election mumbo jumbo is watching a movie at home on the couch in a onesie, hey at least there’s something we can all agree on! In the spirit of today being the final day of the 2012 Presidential Election, here’s a list of the best political films of all time:

- All the President’s Men (1976)
- Election (1999)
- The Candidate (1972)
- Wag the Dog (1997)
- The Parallax View (1974)
- Shake Hands with the Devil (1959)
- Downfall (2004)
- Bulworth (1998)
- Z (1969)
- The Great Dictator (1940)
- Seven Days in May (1964)
- Frost/Nixon (2008)
- The Best Man (1964)
- Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (1939)
- The Manchurian Candidate (1962)

Make sure to get out there and vote! Here’s a suggestion, since those lines to vote are going to be crazy today, make sure to take your smart phone with you and pull up one of these movie on Netflix to help kill time… vote Dukakis!
