MIRANDA LAMBERT needed a change . . . so she cut her hair. On Wednesday she Tweeted, quote, "Gettin' a new do today!" And then yesterday she showed it off, writing, "A change would do u good."
TOBY KEITH'S song "Red Solo Cup" is nominated for CMA Video of the Year . . . but he won't be at next week's ceremony if he wins, because he hates them. "Country Weekly" asked if he'll be there to accept the trophy and he laughed it off. He said, quote, "Hell no, I ain't showing up. I gotta go get a root canal that day, or something fun." Toby has a grudge because he's had 27 CMA nominations . . . but only two wins. In 2001 he picked up the Male Vocalist of the Year trophy . . . and in 2005 he won Video of the Year for "As Good As I Once Was". In fact, Toby believes the only reason he was even nominated this year is because "Red SoloCup" was such a huge crossover hit. He said, quote, "It's the only song I ever had cross over and play on the pop stations. Ever. "All of my peers that are hard ticket sellers . . . about every one of them has had crossover play. I was always the one guy in that generation that didn't."
