KEITH URBAN was in Australia when he saw his wife NICOLE KIDMAN on TV at the SAG Awards in Hollywood . . . and it made him weep. He said, quote, "I flicked on the TV and I got to see my wife [and] what she was wearing. I hit pause and started crying. I hated the fact she was there without me, on her own."

RANDY TRAVIS is getting off easy from his drunk, naked arrest last summer. A Texas judged sentenced him to 180 days in jail, but the sentence was "probated" for two years, which means he can avoid jail if he stays out of trouble for two years. Randy will have to check into an inpatient alcohol treatment facility for a minimum of 30 days, and he'll have to complete 100 hours of community service. And just to make sure the roads are safe, Randy has to install one of those "ignition interlock devices" on any vehicle he'll be driving for the next two years. That's the contraption that measures your blood alcohol level and keeps the engine from starting if you're over the limit.

BRANTLEY GILBERT and JANA KRAMER have been doing more than just planning a wedding. They've also been writing music . . . and will probably, eventually record something. Brantley says, quote, "We have written a couple of songs together, and they are really good, so that may be something we do in the future. But, not right now."

When TIM MCGRAW gave up the firewater five years ago, it wasn't because somebody gave him an ultimatum . . . or because he hit rock bottom. He just figured it was time. He tells "People", quote, "I drank a lot from my point of view and I needed to stop. I felt quitting was something I needed to do. I didn't feel I had any moral high ground with my kids in the long run." As we saw in those tractor tire workouts last summer, Tim replaced his alcohol high with grueling physical workouts. He adds, quote, "Working out is a great way to go out on stage. When I hit the stage, my adrenaline is going and I'm ready."

GARY ALLAN has earned his first #1 on the "Billboard" 200 chart. His ninth studio album, "Set You Free", just debuted with 106,000 copies to take the top spot. Gary didn't face much competition though . . . the only other new album to debut in the Top 10 this week was the "2013 Grammy Nominees" compilation album, which sold 41,000 copies in 4th place.

You may have heard of an American hero named BRENDAN MARROCCO. He's a soldier who lost all four limbs in a bomb blast while serving in Iraq. Six weeks ago he became the first double arm transplant at Baltimore's Johns Hopkins Hospital. Well, during a recent interview he mentioned he'd like to shake hands with BLAKE SHELTON. When Blake heard about it he hit up Twitter and wrote, "Wow. Speechless. I will make this happen!" He also Tweeted, "Hey Brendan. I can't WAIT to shake the hand of an American Hero/Stud. You my brother."

Blake's promise got back to Brendan . . . and he wrote, quote, "Holy mother of God! I can't wait. I'm a huge fan and really looking forward to it. Thank you." No word yet when the handshake will take place.

MINDY MCCREADY did NOT attend the memorial service for her boyfriend David Wilson, who died from a gunshot to the head. I think she wanted something more private with her family in Heber Springs." Meanwhile, Mindy did an interview with "Dateline's" Andrea Canning where she talked about being heartbroken, and denied having anything to do with his murder. Asked point blank if she killed David she said, quote, "Oh my god, no. Oh my god, no. He was my life. We were each other's life."

Mindy said she started screaming when she saw Wilson after the shooting. Quote, "I lay down next to him and just pleaded with him not to die." She did admit they argued on the night he died, but insisted that Wilson was NOT cheating. She said, quote, "David was not having an affair with another woman. That is absolutely, totally untrue." She was also asked about the bullet being found the day AFTER the murder. She had a bizarre answer to that. She said, "I didn't find it . . . the dog did. It was in the dog's mouth. I mean, that's a horrific thing to say, but it was in the dog's mouth." Mindy has not yet been named as a suspect in Wilson's death . . . and she thinks the sheriff is on a "witch hunt." We'll know more when forensic tests are done in a couple of weeks.

SARAH DARLING is the surprise musical guest on next Monday's edition of "The Bachelor". She'll be performing a concert in Whitefish, Montana for bachelor SEAN LOWE.
