We pretty much knew this was coming, but now it's official: LANCE ARMSTRONG has been stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and banned from cycling for life. International Cycling Union President Pat McQuaid . . . the most senior official in the sport, had harsh words for Lance. He said, quote, "Lance Armstrong has no place in cycling, and he deserves to be forgotten in cycling. This is a landmark day for cycling." And Tour de France director Christian Prudhomme said that with Armstrong's name stricken from the books, there are no longer winners for the years between 1999 and 2005. He also said Lance should pay back the prize money from those victories. Speaking of money, experts estimate the loss of endorsements and speaking fees could cost Lance up to $15 million a year. The ICU was working off the report released earlier this month by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency, which found that Armstrong and his team engaged in a "massive and pervasive" doping program.
DR. DREW has an interview with HONEY BOO BOO and her mother MAMA JUNE airing TONIGHT on HLN. In a preview, Honey Boo Boo doesn't seem interested in the interview, and she even FAKES BEING ASLEEP so she doesn't have to talk to Dr. Drew. She also acts out a little . . . "snoring" in Dr. Drew's face, and almost SLAPPING him. She's only seven years old, and clearly she's getting a little annoyed with all the attention. At the end of the clip, Dr. Drew asks her if she likes being on TV . . . and she says, quote, "No. Because fans come up to me and I hate it."
