BROOKE BURKE-CHARVET needs surgery for a small, cancerous nodule on her thyroid. But it sounds like she'll be okay. She says, quote, "I'm going to be fine. And I feel really really strong. Doctors say this is a good kind of cancer to have."

CHARLIE SHEEN has been accused of threatening to blow a guy's head off with a semiautomatic machine gun. The unidentified man was a friend of Charlie's, but they had a bad falling out. And Charlie supposedly texted a mutual friend saying, quote, "I'll blow his head off with my Super 90." When the guy found out, he filed a police report. But another friend of Charlie's isn't buying this. He says, quote, "The accuser is a dishonorably discharged military person with multiple probation violations who is trying to shake Charlie down for money."

The mother of "Modern Family" actress ARIEL WINTER says all this custody chaos started because she tried to come between 14-year-old Ariel and her 18-year-old boyfriend. Supposedly, she caught them messing around in bed and broke it up, then went to the cops. But TMZ says she didn't file a police report against the boyfriend until five days AFTER she lost custody of Ariel.
