BEYONCÉ has been chosen to sing the National Anthem at PRESIDENT OBAMA'S second inauguration ceremony on Monday, January 21st. Apparently, that means they decided against asking ARETHA FRANKLIN to bring her MAGNIFICENT HAT back for an encore of its performance at Obama's first inauguration.

"The Hunger Games" dominated the "People's Choice Awards" last night. It won FIVE trophies, including Favorite Movie of the Year. KATY PERRY won four categories, and SANDRA BULLOCK was given the first ever "Favorite Humanitarian" award for her work in New Orleans.

KEITH URBAN admitted that he and fellow "American Idol" judge RANDY JACKSON have had their differences . . . and have even "gone at it" a few times. "Idol" producer NIGEL LYTHGOE took it one step further. He claims Keith has also had "rows" with MARIAH and NICKI.
